To become a Member of Co-op Care all you need to do is subscribe (free of charge) to the Co-op Care Yahoo List serve (named UHCAN-MN, the community-based, 501(c)(3) sponsor of Co-op Care) by simply sending an email to:
uhcan-mn-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

In a few minutes you will receive an email asking you to confirm your request to join UHCAN-MN by clicking on a link within the email.

Note: Co-op Care IS a cooperative, currently for purposes of operating as a cooperative, community network in order to develop the emerging health insurance cooperative. Co-op Care is not as yet licensed to offer health insurance coverage in MN. Health Care Practitioners are also needed and encouraged to become Members.

Co-op Care: A Prairie HEALTH Companion proposes to be Minnesota’s first large-scale, non-profit, cooperative health insurance pool for individuals, uninsured, co-ops, small businesses, and non-profits. Unlike profit-driven HMOs, our goal is to serve people based on need, and improve the health of our members and the community.
